Restore Chewing Comfort, Clear Speech, and Natural Facial Fullness
Losing multiple teeth—or all of them—makes simple everyday pleasures like enjoying a meal or chatting with family feel incredibly stressful. Over time, missing teeth cause your cheeks to sink inward and your lips to sag, which can make you look significantly older than you are.
At The 32 Pearls Dental Clinic, we design premium, custom-fitted Complete and Partial Removable Dentures to restore your bite and bring back your confident smile. Managed by senior prosthodontists (denture specialists) in Kolkata, our chamber focuses on crafting custom prosthetics that fit the natural contours of your mouth perfectly. We ensure your dentures look life-like, sit securely, and let you enjoy your favorite foods with absolute ease.
Denture Solutions We Offer
We provide a variety of high-grade, biocompatible denture materials tailored to your specific oral anatomy, comfort preferences, and budget:
1. Removable Partial Dentures (RPDs)
If you still have some healthy natural teeth remaining, a partial denture is used to fill the empty spaces. It prevents your remaining teeth from shifting out of place.
- Acrylic Partial Dentures: The most budget-friendly option. It features a pink acrylic base with replacement teeth, held gently in place by subtle, medical-grade wire clasps that hug your natural teeth.
- Flexible Partial Dentures (Lucitone/Valplast): Made from an advanced, lightweight thermoplastic nylon. These dentures have no metallic clasps and are slightly flexible. They blend in perfectly with your natural gums, making them virtually invisible when you smile.
- Cast Partial Dentures (CPD): Built on a strong, ultra-thin cobalt-chromium metal framework. CPDs are incredibly stable, highly durable, and distribute chewing forces evenly across your remaining teeth, making them very comfortable to wear while eating.
2. Complete Dentures (Full Mouth Restoration)
If you have lost all your teeth in the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both, a complete denture replaces your entire smile profile.
- High-Impact Acrylic Dentures: Crafted from premium, shatter-resistant acrylic resins that mimic natural gum shading, complete with realistic tiny capillaries.
- BPS (Biofunctional Prosthetic System) Dentures: The gold standard in removable full dentures. Utilizing computer-controlled manufacturing and specialized engineering, BPS dentures offer an exceptionally precise fit, highly durable teeth, and incredible suction that keeps them from slipping.
Step-by-Step Custom Fabrication Process
Crafting a beautifully fitted denture is an art form that requires meticulous clinical accuracy. Here is what you can expect during your visits to our Kolkata clinic:
1.Initial Consultation & Primary Impressions:Sitting 1.
Our prosthodontist thoroughly examines your gum tissues and underlying bone stability. We take a primary impression of your mouth using a soft, comfortable dental gel to create an initial exact model of your jaws.
2.Precision Border Molding & Final Impressions:Sitting 2.
We customize a specialized tray to match your jaw shape. We carefully record the movements of your cheeks and lips (border molding) to ensure your final denture won’t loose suction or dislodge when you speak or chew.
3.Bite Recording & Shade Selection:Sitting 3.
We measure exactly how your upper and lower jaws meet (jaw relation). Together, we select the perfect shape, size, and natural color shade for your new teeth to complement your age and facial structure beautifully.
4.The Wax Try-In Preview:Sitting 4.
Before the final denture is cast, we create a prototype out of wax. We place this in your mouth so you can look in the mirror, check your appearance, evaluate your speech, and feel the bite. We adjust the teeth until you are 100% happy with how they look.
5.Final Delivery & Custom Polishing:Sitting 5.
Your final, high-polish denture is delivered! We carefully check for any tight spots, make micro-adjustments to perfect your bite, and give you detailed instructions on how to wear and care for your new smile.

Frequently Asked Question
How long will it take to get used to eating and speaking with new dentures?
It is entirely standard for new dentures to feel bulky or slightly loose for the first 2 to 4 weeks while your tongue and cheek muscles learn to hold them in place. Your salivary glands might also produce extra saliva initially. We recommend practicing speaking by reading out loud and starting with soft foods cut into small, bite-sized pieces until your mouth adjusts completely.
Can I wear my removable dentures while sleeping at night?
No, we strongly advise against this. You should always remove your dentures before going to bed. Leaving them out for 6 to 8 hours gives your gum tissues a chance to rest and recover from the pressure of chewing, which prevents fungal infections and minimizes long-term bone loss.
How should I clean and maintain my dentures at home?
Clean your dentures daily over a sink filled with water (so they don’t break if dropped). Brush them thoroughly using a soft-bristled denture brush and mild liquid soap or specialized denture paste—never use regular toothpaste, as it contains abrasive particles that can scratch the smooth acrylic. Soak them in plain water or a denture cleaning solution overnight to keep them from drying out and losing their shape.
Why has my old denture become loose after a few years?
When you lose natural teeth, the underlying jawbone naturally shrinks and reshapes over time because it no longer experiences the pressure of chewing roots. As the bone recedes, a denture that once fit perfectly will gradually become loose. If this happens, bring it to our Kolkata chamber; we can often easily fix the issue by adding a fresh layer of acrylic to the base (denture relining).
What is the difference between a standard denture and an implant-supported denture?
A standard denture rests directly on top of your gums and relies on natural suction or clasps to stay put. An implant-supported denture snaps securely onto 2 to 4 titanium implant posts surgically placed into your jawbone. This completely eliminates slipping, requires no messy adhesives, and provides significantly greater chewing power.
